

The aim of the ROSCAR
Celebratory Awards is to applaud Filmmakers for
their hard work and to maximise audience participation and enjoyment.
The public are thus encouraged to watch these international and
local films and VOTE
on the film entries.
At each cinema screening, cinema goers will receive
a pamphlet. The pamphlet contains information detailing criteria
to look out for when watching a screening, and will assist when
casting a vote.
Tickets now cost
R25, and not R30, for each 2 hour slot.
The screening times are: 12h00, 14h30, 17h15 and 20h00.
The screenings run from 10 – 16 August at the

Nu Metro cinemas and Computicket – when booking – book under
ROSCAR AWARDS.
* Film entries
into the children’s category – The best children’s wildlife
production - are being screened at selected schools in South
Africa, and not at Nu Metro cinemas. This is to maximise on
the number of young viewers. After each screening the
children will judge which film they liked best.
