The aim of the ROSCAR Celebratory Awards is to applaud Filmmakers for their hard work and to maximise audience participation and enjoyment. The public are thus encouraged to watch these international and local films and VOTE on the film entries.

At each cinema screening, cinema goers will receive a pamphlet. The pamphlet contains information detailing criteria to look out for when watching a screening, and will assist when casting a vote.

Tickets now cost R25, and not R30,  for each 2 hour slot.

The screening times are: 12h00, 14h30, 17h15 and 20h00.

The screenings run from 10 – 16 August at the following Nu Metro cinemas:

Bookings through Nu Metro cinemas and Computicket – when booking – book under ROSCAR AWARDS.

*  Film entries into the children’s category – The best children’s wildlife production - are being screened at selected schools in South Africa, and not at Nu Metro cinemas. This is to maximise on the number of young viewers.  After each screening the children will judge which film they liked best.
